All inclusive afternoon tea with cheese boards and chocolate fountains ... the folks at TUI's Marella Cruises certainly know how to get the attention of the We are Guests newsdesk!
Marella Cruises has announced it will introduce two new and indulgent themed afternoon teas across its fleet starting in August.
'The Chocolate Bar' and 'The Cheese Table' will alternate every two weeks, and are included in the cruise line’s all-inclusive programme - available in the main buffet areas of all five Marella ships.
The Chocolate Bar Afternoon Tea is a chocolate lover’s dream, with a flowing chocolate fountain, chocolate scones, and mini patisseries.

Guests can also visit a 'build your own' chocolate trifle station, to layer brownie, mousse, and tasty toppings including salted caramel, cherry compote, or crushed waffles.
For those guests who prefer savoury delights, the other side of the rota, The Cheese Table features a Raclette bar serving melted cheese over sourdough alongside with a five-cheese board accompanied with grapes, crackers, pickles, and chutneys.
Also on offer will be sweet and savoury scones, sandwiches, and a 'build your own' cheesecake cone station with toppings like lemon curd and biscuit crumbs.
"After two successful trials across a couple of ships, feedback from customers shows us that they love the latest afternoon teas," said Luke Saunders, Marella Cruises food and drink development manager.
Saunders added: "We are looking forward to our new and returning customers getting their sweet and savoury fix for when they are next onboard.”
These new all-inclusive options are additions to Marella's existing themed events such as the 'Great Musical Afternoon Tea', a £18.95 per person experience inspired by everyone's favourite West End productions.
