All-Star Sports Resort is a wallet-friendly place to enjoy the magic of staying on Disney World property, without skimping on comfort.
This value-category resort offers fun, sporty theming, refurbished rooms, and all the essentials that couples and families need for a stress-free stay at Walt Disney World.
It is a large resort with plenty of accommodations.
Standard vs preferred rooms
There are two room categories at All-Star Sports: Standard Rooms and Preferred Rooms.
Both have the same layout and features; the only difference is location. Preferred Rooms are closer to Stadium Hall, which houses the front desk, dining, arcade, and bus stop.
If quick access to amenities is a priority, it’s worth the small upgrade.
If not, Standard Rooms offer a quieter stay for less.
How many people can these rooms sleep?
Each room sleeps up to four adults and includes one standard queen bed plus a queen-size Murphy bed, which folds down from the wall over a table.
The Murphy bed is ideal for families or groups who want to maximise floor space during the day.

Both beds feature cheerful Disney-themed artwork above the headboards; Mickey, Minnie, and Donald on one, and Huey, Dewey, and Louie on the other.

In-room amenities
Rooms include a dual-cup coffee maker, including Joffrey’s coffee sachets, a mini beverage cooler, an iron and ironing board, and plenty of storage.
USB charging ports are available via bedside tables and the media console, so keeping devices charged is easy.
Bathrooms are split for convenience, with a vanity and storage area outside and a separate toilet and shower/tub combo inside.
Guests will find mounted dispensers with complimentary body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, along with a hairdryer and plenty of towel hooks.
Housekeeping, laundry, and check-in
Rooms are cleaned according to Disney’s enhanced housekeeping schedule, with service every other day or upon request.
Two laundry buildings are available for guests, located near the Surf’s Up and Homerun Hotel areas, and offer coin-operated washers, dryers, and detergent vending machines.
Resort check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, it is recommended that guests enquire directly with the front desk before arrival.
Which section of All-Star Sports is best for you?
While every room at All-Star Sports has the same layout and in-room features, your experience can vary quite a bit depending on which themed section you’re assigned to.
The resort is split into five larger-than-life sports-themed areas, each with its own vibe, proximity perks, and décor.
Surf’s Up! – Closest to Everything
This is the Preferred Room zone, located right beside Stadium Hall (where you’ll find the quick service dining) and the main Surfboard Bay Pool.
Buildings are lined with towering surfboards and massive shark fins, while stairwells resemble oversized lifeguard towers.
It’s the most convenient location for quick access to dining, arcade, transportation, and the main pool. But that also means it’s the busiest and often the noisiest.
Touchdown! – Quiet and Central
Themed around American football, this area features towering helmets, football-shaped staircases, and a full turf-style field with goalposts.
Located between both resort pools but away from heavy traffic, it offers a great balance of quiet and convenience.
Center Court – Tennis with Character
This section brings a playful touch with giant tennis rackets, Spalding tennis balls, and even a life-size scene of Donald Duck trying to play tennis with Huey, Dewey, and Louie (but they're more interested in baseball!).

It’s a peaceful, leafy area that feels tucked away from the more bustling parts of the resort.
Hoops Hotel – Basketball Fan’s Delight
Massive basketballs, whistle-shaped stairwells, and towering hoops dominate this fun zone. It’s not pool-adjacent, but sits relatively close to Stadium Hall.
You’ll also find “Mount Mickey,” a central statue perfect for photos, located right between this and neighbouring areas.
Homerun Hotel – Poolside and Peaceful
All the way at the back of the resort, this baseball-themed section features Coca-Cola cup staircases, Louisville Slugger bats, scoreboards, and the quieter Grand Slam Pool.
A statue of Goofy stands on the pitcher’s mound, launching water into the pool. It’s a bit of a walk from Stadium Hall, but here the vibe is more relaxed.
Thoughts on All-Star Sports …
This resort is one of the cheapest on Disney World property, alongside Movies and Music, the two other All-Stars.
Whilst being on the value side, the resorts provide comfortable accommodations that suit families on a budget, or who prefer to spend most of their time and money in and around the parks instead of the hotel.
For the most part, the rooms are similar across the All-Star resorts, but requesting the right hotel section can really make your stay at these resorts.
