British Airways has unveiled a new long‑haul programme for summer 2026 from London Heathrow and Gatwick, with more flights heading to destinations including Bangkok, the Caribbean and the United States.

“We’re delighted to expand our long‑haul network from London Heathrow and Gatwick next summer, adding more services to some of our most‑loved destinations,” said Neil Chernoff, British Airways chief planning and strategy officer.

Bangkok, for example, shifts from winter‑only to a year‑round route from Gatwick, with three flights a week in summer and six times in winter. In all, the UK flag carrier is adding close to 60,000 extra seats to Bangkok next year, and it is also expanding connectivity through its codeshare with Bangkok Airways.

Flights to Kingston, Jamaica, increase to four per week from Gatwick.

Departing from Heathrow, BA will run a twice-daily schedule to Miami, plus one-a-day flights to Dallas‑Fort Worth.

Flights to Las Vegas will be up to 13 per week, from 10, whilst San Diego and Austin will see 14 flights per week, and New York services are set to consolidate at Heathrow for nine daily departures.

For the Middle East, the Bahrain schedule increases to a daily service out of Heathrow, more than double what it was before.

BA will operate 21 weekly flights to Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, with five Jeddah flights and 14 Riyadh flights. And, it will run 14 Doha flights per week.

It comes after short-haul BA Euroflyer recently extended year‑round services to Rabat, Morocco, and Graz, Austria, from winter 2025.

“Whether customers are travelling for business, leisure, or visiting loved ones, we hope they take advantage of these additional flights, which offer greater choice and convenience, making it easier than ever to connect with their favourite destinations around the world.”

By the airlines' count, British Airways serves more than 200 destinations in over 65 countries from London’s three main airports.
