Guests pondering next year's holiday plans may have more travel options thanks to Jet2, which is launching more flights in 2026, adding a new hub out of London Gatwick.
The British package holiday firm and airline will launch a program of Gatwick flights from 26 March, timed for Easter getaways.
It means Jet2 will be operating flights out of 14 UK airports.
A fleet of six aircraft, including five brand-new Airbus A321neos, will serve 29 sunshine destinations out of Gatwick - across Spain, including flights to the Balearic and Canaries islands as well as Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Malta, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria and Cyprus.
"For many years, our ambition has been to provide our differentiated, service-led, end-to-end product offering from London Gatwick, and we see this as a once in a generation opportunity to accelerate our growth from the UK’s largest beach and city leisure destination airport,” said Jet2 CEO Steve Heapy.
