Costa Cruises has announced an expansion to its Western Mediterranean slate for winter 2025–26, with two fresh itineraries aboard the Costa Toscana cruise ship.
The headline addition is a new 12-day sailing beginning in early January 2026 from Savona, as well as a 7-day 'Gulfs of Italy' circuit, running through December 2025.
Both new itineraries are designed to keep short-haul winter escapes easy for European guests.
The new 12-day itinerary traces Savona–Marseille–Barcelona–Alicante–Málaga before crossing the Strait of Gibraltar to Tangier, then calls La Goulette (Tunis), Palermo and Civitavecchia (for Rome) before returning to Savona.
Costa's 7-day Gulfs of Italy sailings will depart Savona for Marseille and Barcelona, and also include an overnight pause in the Balearic Sea's 'Darkest Spot' for a night of stargazing before continuing into the Gulf of Naples, Civitavecchia (for Rome) and La Spezia.
Costa also highlighted some of its other winter options, which include the Costa Smeralda running 7-day Western Mediterranean loops, including a lights-off star-viewing segment.

Further afield, the Costa Favolosa cruise ship offers 3 and 4 day mini-cruises in the Caribbean, with flight plus cruise packages available. Costa Fascinosa and Costa Pacifica are together running 1 week itineraries in the Caribbean as well.
Costa's Canary Islands program is handled by the Costa Fortuna ship, whilst Costa Serena will run 14-day trips in Asia, and the Costa Deliziosa will undertake a 142-day World Cruise voyage, departing Trieste on 21 November 2025.
