Disneyland Paris reveals new details for this year's Halloween Festival

Disneyland Paris has revealed key details of its upcoming Disney Halloween Festival, which runs 1 October to 2 November.

The festival promises a mix of family-friendly fun and villainous flair, with a spooky 'cavalcade', special limited-time shows and experiences, Halloween-themed nighttime projections, as well as exclusive food items and merch.

"From the moment they step into Disneyland® Park, guests will be greeted by grinning pumpkins and adorable little ghosts in a spellbinding atmosphere," the French park said in an announcement.

Previewing the event, Disneyland Paris highlighted that Main Street, USA will feature Halloween-themed projections after dark, and, before that, in the day, Mickey’s Halloween Celebration cavalcade will see appearances from favourite characters in spookily-themed attire - including all Three Caballeros (José Carioca, Panchito and Donald Duck), plus Goofy, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Daisy Duck, Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar.

And, of course, a special appearance from Mickey, on his Halloween-themed Illusion Manor float.

Another popular seasonal attraction will be the exclusive Halloween meet 'n' greet experiences with everyone's love-to-hate Disney Villains such as Cruella, Maleficent, Jafar, the Queen of Hearts, plus fan-favourites like Nighmare Before Christmas's Jack & Sally and CoCo's Miguel.

In terms of Halloween food and merch, the festival will see The Lucky Nugget Saloon transformed into the immersive Unlucky Nugget Saloon, with a Phantom Manor-inspired “wedding feast that was never held.”

Among the unique food offerings revealed by Disneyland Paris are vanilla-filled éclairs honouring Phantom Manor’s famous spirits.

More treat than trick, park guests can pick up an M&M’s treasure hunt map that will guide them to Cast Members bearing sweet treats.
