Do you remember? ... 21 September will be a no-shuffle day at Epcot

Guests riding EPCOT's top attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, will later this month be guaranteed to hear arguably 'the best'' song on what is usually a six-song playlist.

Yes, that's right ... Earth, Wind and Fire's 'September' - which (as I'm sure you already know) opens with the iconic, earworm lyrics: "Do you remember,
The 21st night of September?" - will be on repeat for the whole of Sunday, 21 September.

It's a fun gimmick that's becoming an annual trend at EPCOT, and Disney Parks has confirmed via social media that guests can celebrate the emerging tradition this year, too.

Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind has been a favourite for EPCOT visitors since it opened in 2022, with its mix of high-speed thrill, its engaging preshow, and impressive projections - but, really, it is the ride's soundtrack that really sets it apart from other rides in Orlando.

Earth, Wind & Fire's “September” is said to be the most sought-after song among the rotation of six, so guests in Disney World later this month will have the opportunity to experience this favourite track, guaranteed.

The other five tracks on the ride's usual rotation are:

  • "One way or another", by Blondie
  • "I ran (so far away)", by Flock of Seagulls
  • "Everybody wants to rule the world", by Tears for Fears
  • "Conga", by Gloria Estefan
  • "Disco Inferno", by The Trammps
