Universal’s Surfside Inn and Suites serves up convenient and affordable food and drink options for guests.
Surfside is a modern, high-quality value resort and although it is among Universal’s cheapest ‘on-site’ hotels, this resort has not scrimped on dining.
So, whether you're a family grabbing a quick bite between park visits or a couple seeking a relaxed meal, has options for all its guests.
Beach Break Café
Beach Break Café is the go-to spot for guests staying at Surfside. It is a casual dining outlet that has a laid-back vibe with a selection of food at prices that won't break the bank.
Beach Break Cafe is the resort’s main dining venue, and while it might look like a typical cafeteria-style food court at first glance, the quality and range of food on offer is way beyond what you’d expect from a value resort.

This is an easy-going, surf-themed spot located just off the lobby, open from morning to late at night, serving up fresh, made-to-order meals across several different stations.
Breakfast is especially strong here, and not just your standard scrambled eggs and toast. Sure, they’ve got the classics like bacon, sausage, potatoes and biscuits, but the menu also includes more elevated options like steak and eggs Benedict.
It’s cooked to order, so it might take a few minutes, but it's worth the wait. There’s also a surprisingly delicious breakfast pizza on the menu, topped with sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, and a blend of mozzarella and cheddar.
If you're in a hurry, there are grab-and-go breakfast sandwiches and pastries ready to take with you to the parks.

Lunchtime and dinner bring even more variety. Hot entrees like roasted chicken and snapper come with sides and vegetables and hover around the $16 mark.
If you’re feeling snacky or want something lighter, you’ll find ready-made sandwiches, salads (including steak salad and Cobb), plus wraps, yoghurts, fruit, and more.
The grill station is where the real comfort food lives - think burgers, chicken tenders, fries - and their spicy chicken sandwich deserves a special mention. Guests consistently rave about how juicy and flavourful it is, served with a mix of buffalo sauce and spicy mayo that doesn’t skimp on flavour.
For those plant-based or vegan-inclined, the Beyond Burger banh mi is one of the more creative vegan fast-food options you’ll find at any Orlando hotel. Served thick with pickled carrots and pickles, and optionally spiced up with sriracha, it offers a satisfying and genuinely tasty alternative.
You can also grab drinks, pastries, snacks, and chilled meals from the grab-and-go fridges, which are well stocked with everything from craft beers and juices to cereals, ice creams, and oversized cinnamon rolls.

The Sand Bar
Out by the pool, the Endless Summer Surfside's Sand Bar serves is the budget resort's dedicated cocktail spot.
It doesn’t have its own food menu, but guests are welcome to bring food over from Beach Break Cafe and enjoy it on the pool deck.
The bar focuses on tropical-style cocktails, mocktails, and beers, and the theming adds a nice nostalgic touch — many of the cocktails are named after the rides from Wet 'n Wild, the waterpark that used to sit on the same site.

There’s a good mix of options, from fruity frozen drinks to alcohol-free choices like Heineken Zero.
Guest reviews highlight the blueberry wheat ale in particular, describing it as crisp, fruity, and tasting like "a blueberry-muffin beer".
The bar staff are friendly, the seating is plentiful, and there’s usually a relaxed vibe in the evenings, especially after the parks have emptied out.

If you’re the kind of guest who needs a caffeine fix before hitting the parks, Surfside has you covered with a full Starbucks in the lobby.

It opens early and serves all the usual hot and cold drinks, along with sandwiches, snack boxes and pastries. For families on the go, it’s an ideal pitstop on the way to the park buses or back to your room.
Guest tip: Guests can buy a refillable resort mug for about $26, which gets you unlimited refills of soda, tea, and coffee at the machines throughout the hotel from 7 am to 1 am. So, if you're staying longer than a couple of days you can easily get your money's worth.

Guest thoughts ...
Okay, so, many other theme park resorts in Orlando will have a longer list of restaurants, themed dining and 'signature' eating experiences.
But, the twin Endless Summer resorts are budget theme park hotels. Obviously, we don't expect that from these resorts. Nevertheless, Endless Summer Surfside punches way above its weight class when it comes to food.
Beach Break Cafe has more than plenty of what you need. That's tasty, affordable and most importantly, convenient food options, throw into the mix the delivery service and a splash of cocktails, and, really, what more could you want from an affordable theme park hotel.
It is easy to see how guests find Endless Summer satisfying, and say it meets and/or exceeds their expectations.
