Family room with a double and a bunk, at Explorers Hotel, Paris

Explorers Hotel gives guests fun, affordable room options near Disneyland Paris

5 min read

Explorers Hotel, a Disneyland Paris partner hotel, lands in a sweet spot with its proximity to theme parks and being (generally) a cheaper 'off Disney property' option.

All the rooms come with creative theming, featuring some of the hotel's own storytelling, along with practical extras that appeal to everyone from budget-focused families to Disney superfans.

And, the options are quite varied from standard doubles, family rooms, accessible options and five wildly themed suites.

Guests will find consistent touches throughout all of them - USB-equipped sockets, mini-fridges, quality toiletries and split bathrooms - that elevate a typical off-site stay into something memorable.

Let's take a closer look at the rooms you can book for your next trip to Disneyland Paris.

Double rooms

Double rooms are spacious, for two guests, and feature a plush king-size bed.

Ideal for couples, the double room adds a couch and a small coffee table, allowing guests to make the most of the space.

On either side of the bed, you’ll find bedside tables including a European socket plus two USB-A/C ports: perfect for a phone, tablet and camera all on charge overnight.

Storage is smartly integrated in these rooms with a cabin-style console by the door, while a wardrobe holds hangers, a safe and a mini fridge.

Bathrooms include a 'split design' separating the toilet from the rest of the bathroom area, which has a bathtub/shower, a large sink and, as you'd expect, some complementary toiletries.

'Quadruple' rooms

Similar to the double rooms, but sleeping up to four. They come in a few varieties in terms of sleeping arrangements.

Guests can have either two double beds, a double and two twin beds, or a double and bunk beds.

Like the doubles, these rooms are practical and quite spacious. Bedside lockers bring two USB ports and a power socket.

A compact desk and chair sit beneath a full-length mirror, with tea/coffee kit, kettle and mini-fridge just a few steps away. The flat-screen TV and safe are located on the opposite wall.

These rooms also have a split bathroom design, which makes it that bit easier for the family or group to get ready all at the same time.

For larger groups

For groups larger than four, Explorers offers flexibility with the option to request adjoining-rooms, or, simply by booking one of the hotel's six-bed setups.

The six-sleeper room pairs a Quadruple room with an extra bunk chamber via an internal door.

Kids’ quarters get playful décor and easy-reach outlets at bunk height. Ground-floor accessible family rooms include lowered wardrobes, grab rails and roll-in showers, making these perfect for guests with reduced mobility or grandparents who prefer zero-step entry.

With enough space to spread out, families praise the separation between adult and kids’ sleeping areas, it's a bonus for group bookings families that want every member of the famility to have a little bit more space and privacy.

Pirate Suites

One of five themed suites available at Explorers Hotel are the Pirates Suites, carrying on the hotel's core theming.

Step into a captain’s cabin with dark-wood paneling, rope-style bed frames and “treasure chest” bedside tables.

A queen bed in the parent chamber, bunk beds in the kids’ room and a pull-out sofa-bed in the lounge mean up to six guests can sleep soundly. Two full bathrooms give families choice and space.

Candy Suites

This suite design features pastel-pink, candy-shop fantasy vibes with lollipop lamps and marshmallow-shaped ottomans.

The layout is the same as the Pirate Suite: parental bedroom, separate kids’ bunk room and central lounge.

Hidden mini-fridge and minibar cabinets look like giant candy jars, and the recessed LED ceiling mimics a cotton-candy glow come evening.

Sea Life Suites

Inspired by sea life aquariums, this suite design uses shimmering wall panels, bubble-effect lighting and marine-life murals.

The sleeping zones follow the same three-room flow, but the bathroom nearest the lounge features dual sinks and a glass-encased walk-in rainfall shower.

Kids can watch the aquarium-inspired TV screensaver when winding down.

Knight Suites

Castle-inspired décor featuring stone-effect walls, heraldic banners and faux-stained-glass windows make these rooms a popular choice for adventurous fairytale fans.

The kids’ zone is a turret-style bunk nook; parents enjoy a canopy double bed framed by “castle” battlements.

Princess Suites

Perhaps a more refined choice of decor, for princesses. Like the other five, the Princess Suite has the same suite layout but with a stylish, pink design.
