The Holland America cruise line has announced its new 2027 season for its cruises to Canada & New England.
The program is made up of 20 sailings across 13 itineraries departing between May and October, on either the Volendam or Zuiderdam ships, and most will call into Montréal or Québec City.
Volendam is to sail out of Boston to Montréal with seven-day itineraries featuring calls in ports such as Québec City, Sydney, Halifax, Prince Edward Island; Eastport and Portland, Maine; and Saint John.
While Zuiderdam will also operate three and seven-day sailings out of Boston, and Québec City, with calls to Prince Edward Island and Portland.
A highlight in the program is a nine-day “Lighthouses & Harbors of Canada and New England” voyage aboard Volendam. Departing in October 2027, from Montréal, Volendam sails to New York City with visits to up to 10 historic lighthouses - including Maine’s Portland Head Light and Peggy’s Cove in Nova Scotia.
Both Volendam and Zuiderdam will also run longer itineraries (10 and 14 day trips), down as far as Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
"Our Canada & New England itineraries are designed to showcase the wonders of the region — from its breathtaking national parks and storied lighthouses to its rich French heritage," said Paul Grigsby, Holland America's VP of deployment and itinerary planning.
For early bookers, Holland America is offering extra perks for guests taking its 'Have It All' package to also include free upgrades to drinks packages and wifi.
