So says British Jet2holidays, which has announced it is adding the Greek island of Kos to its schedule from Glasgow Airport for summer 2026.
The UK package holidays group, whose advertising audio has been a viral sensation on Instagram and Tik-Tok this summer, said that its adding Kos to its Glasgow roster in response to strong demand from Scottish guests for more sunshine escapes.
Flights will run weekly, on Tuesdays, from 26 May to 20 October 2026, giving holidaymakers a new way to explore the island’s blend of golden beaches, lively towns and traditional fishing villages.
Kos is known for its laid-back resorts, its archaeological sites, as well as the vibrant and cosmopolitan atmosphere of Kos Town with its buzzy bars and seafront promenades.
“Kos is a magical destination, and we know its appeal, coupled with our award-winning customer experience, will make it an extremely popular option,” said Steve Heapy, Jet2holidays CEO .
It takes the number of Jet2’s Greek destinations six, putting Kos alongside Corfu, Heraklion, Kefalonia, Rhodes and Zante.
The airline and tour operator promised guests friendly flight times, a generous 22kg baggage allowance, in-resort customer helpers, return transfers, and ATOL protection.
