MSC Cruises has announced details of its upcoming upgrade to the MSC Poesia cruise ship, which will have 'Yacht Club' facilities added before it relaunches in summer 2026.
Poesia's new Yacht Club area will have 63 luxury suites, including a large Royal Suite with its own private whirlpool and an expansive 840-square-foot terrace.
Yacht Club guests will also dine in a dedicated restaurant, as well as the Top Sail Lounge, a private sundeck and bar, plus a grill and two hot tubs.
The ship will make its debut with a sailing to Alaska, with a seven-night itinerary departing Seattle between May and September.
It will include calls at Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Tracy Arm, Juneau and Victoria.
"Guests booking in the newly added MSC Yacht Club will enjoy an exclusive, all-inclusive experience featuring 24-hour butler and concierge service, spacious and elegantly appointed suites, and access to a private oasis of facilities," MSC said an announcement.
Poesia's upgrades don't stop at the Yacht Club.
It will also receive fresh dining and leisure spaces, including a new steakhouse, sushi bar, sports bar, and a revamped spa featuring an ocean-view sauna, steam rooms and a salt room.
A new gym will have aft-facing workout areas, a yoga room and outdoor courts.
"Guests sailing during MSC Cruises’ inaugural season in Alaska aboard MSC Poesia will be able to enjoy these new features while exploring Alaska’s unrivalled beauty, spectacular scenery, magnificent wildlife and rich cultural heritage," the cruise line added.
