Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania and Regent Seven Seas to 'honor' loyalty benefits across brands

Guests with loyalty points with Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania, and Regent Seven Seas can benefit from a new program that will allow those points to be 'honored' across the three cruise brands.

As a result, guests could use their points across a combined fleet of 34 ships sailing to more than 700 destinations.

It will apply for cruise sailings departing from 15 October, with the redemption window opening from 29 September.

“We want our guests to feel rewarded whenever they choose to sail within our family of award-winning cruise brands,” said Harry Sommer, CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line.

“With the new Loyalty Status Honoring Program, our guests can experience more of what makes each brand special, while still enjoying the loyalty recognition they’ve worked hard to achieve.”

The parent of the three cruise brands explained that the loyalty benefits will be applied on a per-cruise basis and mapped to the “closest corresponding tier.”

NCLH also noted its plans to add 13 new ships across its brands by 2036, which would increase the fleet capacity to 38,400 berths.
