Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, the luxury cruise brands operated by Norwegian Cruise Line, have struck a new retail partnership with Diamonds International.
The collab deal kicks off this month, with a wider range of high-end shopping being added to Oceania Cruises’ newest ship, Oceania Allura (a 1,250 berth luxury vessel launched earlier this year).
Later this year, meanwhile, the Seven Seas Mariner cruise ship (a smaller "ultra luxury" 750 berth vessel) will undergo a major refurbishment and will feature Diamond International retail spaces.
"Our guests will relish the opportunity to browse and buy from the remarkable array of brands on offer as they sail the globe on our small luxurious ships," Oceania and Regent Seven Seas chief luxury officer Jason Montague said in a statement.
Albert Gad, Diamonds International CEO, meanwhile, added: "this partnership means a lot to us.
"We're proud to keep growing with Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises and our team is excited to bring our collections to their guests around the world, on every ship, now and in the future."
Diamond International describes itself as "the world's largest duty-free retailer", with around 125 locations selling high-end jewellery, diamonds and watches. Its retail spaces are typically located in cruise ports throughout the Caribbean, Mexico and Alaska.
As part of the Oceania and Regent Seven Seas partnerships, Diamonds International will be selling pieces by Swiss watchmaker Breitling, onboard for the first time.
The luxury retail offering is also expected to include Ferragamo handbags, Tumi luggage, Chanel and Dior fragrances, North Face outerwear, Panerai watches and Cariloha bamboo linens.
The Seven Seas Mariner is due in dry dock in early November to undergo upgrades, before the ultra-luxury ship embarks on a 14-day transatlantic voyage and round-trip itineraries out of Miami in late 2025.
In January, the Mariner departs on the 'Sense of Adventure' World Cruise in 2026 (a 154-night voyage exploring ports in Hawaii, Pacific islands, Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia, Asia, India, Africa, the Canaries, Portugal, and Bermuda before returning to Miami).
