The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is a London hotel that immediately makes an impression. From the moment you step inside, the gleaming black-and-red lobby and glass-lined escalators set the tone. This is a polished, modern hotel with capital city flair.
On walking through the large revolving door into the enormous light-filled atrium, we had to pause and take a moment to fully appreciate the scale of this hotel's entrance area.
But beyond the impressive looks, this is a hotel that delivers on comfort and practicality too, especially for families.
Unbeatable location
If you want to be close to London’s biggest landmarks, it’s hard to beat this address.
This is our favourite area for London trips and is a great spot to experience many of London's iconic landmarks.

The hotel sits right on Westminster Bridge, just steps away from Big Ben, the London Eye, and the Houses of Parliament.
A pleasant stroll along the Thames will bring you to London's vibrant Southbank, with a great selection of eateries and food trucks available to satisfy any appetite.
The city oasis of St James Park can be enjoyed with a 10/15 minute stroll.
You’re within five minutes of Waterloo Station, Westminster Tube, and even the Uber Boat pier, meaning you can explore the city easily, whether on foot, by Underground, or along the Thames.
There are also a number of Hop on/Hop off bus locations within easy reach.
The area’s constant buzz gives it a great feel, and it’s ideal for families or first-time visitors who want to feel right in the middle of everything without having to navigate the chaos of some of central London's busier streets and locations.
Rooms, with space and style
Sometimes the rooms in a hotel don’t quite match up to its public areas. This is not the case in Westminster Park Plaza.
The Family Studio Room earns high praise from us. It’s spacious, cleverly designed, and feels premium from the start.
There’s a separate sofa bed area with its own large screen TV, a main bedroom with a super-king bed and second large TV, and a cleverly hidden kitchenette complete with sink, microwave, fridge and drinks cooler, crockery, and glasses.
Lighting is smartly designed. You can set everything from bright morning light to soft evening mood lighting, all from the comfort of your bed.

The bathroom has a generous walk-in shower, separate bath and large vanity area, with robes and high-quality toiletries, including moisturiser, shampoo, and conditioner.
The room had so many nice touches that really elevated the stay for us.
Dining that delights
The hotel’s restaurants and bar areas (Brasserie Joel, Ichi Sushi and Primo Bar) looked inviting and were consistently busy, and Radisson Rewards members benefit from 10% discounts on food and drink (not including room service).
On this occasion, we didn’t get the chance to dine in either of the hotel restaurants.
However, we did indulge in some room service as a special treat. The Family Movie Night deal - two pizzas, garlic bread, chips, and drinks for £44 (and a modest tray charge) - offered exceptional value for central London.
The meal arrived beautifully presented on a wheeled table with full cutlery and condiments, adding a real touch of luxury.
It was also extremely tasty, and enjoying it whilst watching a movie together in the enormous bed was the perfect way to spend an evening.
Pool, spa and facilities
In the basement, the indoor swimming pool and spa area are sleek, modern, and well-managed. Guests book 30-minute slots via reception to prevent a crowded environment, a welcome detail for families wanting a calm swim.

The pool area features mood lighting and good changing facilities, while the gym and spa treatment rooms add to the high-end feel.
Public areas, from the business lounge to the lobby and bar, are spotless and stylish throughout. Even the hotel lifts have a touch of class to them.
There is also an inviting Illy coffee shop located in the hotel's entrance area, perfect for grabbing something to have on the go whilst out exploring the vicinity.
A London stay that ticks every box
Between its unbeatable location, impressive design, and genuinely family-friendly setup, the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge stands out as one of London’s best all-round city hotels.
It’s polished without feeling pretentious, and stylish yet welcoming.
For anyone planning a London getaway, it’s a hotel that balances comfort and convenience with style.
Whilst it could be considered to be on the pricey side, Radisson regularly have special offers available for members when booking direct and great deals are definitely there to be found.
This hotel has a high percentage of returning guests, and it’s easy to see why. Our first visit and definitely won't be our last!
