Amazing family break
We travelled as a family group of 7 adults and 2 children via Air France to Charles de Gaulle. We stayed for 4 nights 5 days in Hotel Cheyenne. We were half board therefore had buffet breakfast each morning and the first night we ate there too, having the Chuck Wagon buffet which was excellent and all our group found lots that they enjoyed. We picked Cheyenne both because it suited our budget and also because of the theming as our little ones love Toy Story. We did the character interactions at the hotel with Woody and Jessie which were really good. In fact, it was so evident that my 4 year old non-verbal autistic grandson loved Woody so much that Woody took him by the hand and walked him all round the reception area waving at everyone. That was so kind and we never saw it happen with anyone else. The hotel staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. We sorted our priority pass for our grandson at reception and also got birthday badges for two of our party. The shop and Starbucks are a welcome addition. The hotel was spotless and rooms were serviced every day. We loved the layout of the accommodation blocks like a Wild West town rather than a large multi-storey hotel. Our block was Butch Cassidy and even though the hotel was meant to be at capacity, it didn’t seem noisy at all and it was really quiet in the rooms. The walk along the river to Disney Village was 10-15 minutes but the shuttle bus was a great option for tired legs. It ran 4-5 times an hour and we didn’t experience any issues with pushing, shoving, overcrowding etc. It only takes 5 minutes on the shuttle to the drop off point near the train station close to the main park security entrance. There is a ticketed left luggage office which we used on arrival and departure days which was great as it meant we could be in the parks for longer. If we were to go back to Disney, we all said we would definitely stay here again.
