Very outdated and poorly mananged

The knobs in the tub kept breaking, the sink was cracked beyond repair. The phone nor the tea kettle didn’t work. The room smelled like mold.

a fathers dream for his daughter

I was nervous about our trip as for us it was a once in a lifetime trip, yers of saving as soon as our baby was born just so she could experience disney as me and her mum never could ourselves. I almost expected to be dissapointed because we had built it up in our minds but to say it exceeded our dreams would be an understatement. Seeing my daughters face as the princesses she currently aspires to be interacted with her just made me take a minute and try to ingrain that smile into my memory. From her excitement at the mickey shaped food to just being lost in the moment as fireworks snd lights made the castle come alive, in years to come she probably won't remember the experience but the look me and her mum gave ourselves as she smiled and looked around the magicl scenes will be with me until my last day.

Fairy disappointed with our compass club upgrade

We recently returned from Newport Bay where we had upgraded our room to Compass Club as due to the age of our son, we would be spending more time at the hotel for naps. We arrived early on the morning and checked in no issues, left our luggage and headed to the parks. About 2pm we returned to the hotel to collect our sons pram from luggage storage as our room wasn’t yet ready (no issues as we knew it was before the 3pm time we were given). We asked the lady at the luggage if she had an idea when the room would be ready, I assumed they would have times to move luggage to the room and hoped to get my son into the room for a nap. She told us it would be 5pm, I didn’t question why this was 2hrs after the time we were given at check out but headed back to the parks. 20 minutes later I received a text saying the room was ready. And hour later we returned and headed to our room to find no luggage and no cot. The cot was requested over the phone at booking, on the app during checking in and confirmed that day when checking in. We call and they did arrange for it all to be brought up but some time after we were told the room was ready. We had a few other issues with luggage and staff during our stay. The lounge and bar staff were amazing and made a fuss over our son and his birthday. Not sure if I would stay here again or if the upgrade was really worth it.

Another fab stay

We have stayed I this hotel before and once again we had an excellent time. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't have a meal plan, but enjoyed dinner at Cape Cod one evening, which was lovely with lots of variety of dishes. We also used the pool area which the children enjoyed. There is also a jacuzzi, steam room and Sauna, which I found relaxing after a busy day at the park.
