Port Orleans French Quarter

Walt Disney World · Orlando

This Walt Disney World Moderate Resort brings the spirit of New Orleans's French Quarter to Lake Buena Vista — cobblestone streets, wrought-iron balconies, gas lamps and the occasional jazz soundtrack included. It sits along the Sassagoula River, which you can follow on foot (or by watercraft) to the neighbouring Port Orleans Riverside resort, giving you access to extra dining options including Cajun and Creole specialties. The Mardi Gras-themed pool is a genuine highlight — a giant sea serpent waterslide, jazz-loving gator sculptures and a poolside bar make it one of the more characterful pools on Disney property. Evenings at Scat Cat's Club bring live jazz-fusion, and horse-drawn carriage rides along the river are a lovely slower-paced option for families. A solid mid-range choice for those who want Disney convenience with a bit more personality than a standard hotel.
