Experience at the Spencer was very good. Special shoutout to Thais who was great and really helped me feel at home during breakfasts.

Great Stay

Location was perfect and easily walkable to all sites in Dublin. Rooms were comfortable, quiet, and clean as well. Easy transportation to airport as there is taxi stand right outside. Staff was pleasant upon check-in and check-out. Has a parking garage as well which made it very easy with rental car. Gym was huge and great to use.

Enjoyable downtown business stay

Here for Medical Education trip with husband. We loved the decks and outdoor terraces, there are many to choose from in the facility. Many have views of the nearby Liffey river. We had a very knowledgeable front desk agent Bernadette, who checked us in and answered all of our questions and resolved any matters we had very promptly and expeditious. Ms. Bernadette is a hard-working lady, and and we appreciate her professionalism. This hotel strikes me as a business hotel located in the central business district, and right next to the Citibank corporate office. Very convenient access to trams and buses from this location, literally steps away.

Don’t book this hotel

I was thoroughly disappointed with the service, particularly when I noticed a significantly higher charge on my credit card statement after returning from my trip. I had attempted to extend my stay and had found a cheaper price on Booking.com. I informed them of this, and they assured me that they would honor their price, eliminating the need for me to book directly with them. However, when I called to rectify the situation, they insisted that I provide proof of the Booking.com price at the time, which was impossible to do since I couldn’t search for a backdated date. This was very unfortunate, as I dislike switching hotels. I should have simply booked through Booking.com instead of trusting their word. This experience was disappointing, and I will not be returning to this hotel. It is certainly not worth the trouble.
