Average at best

I've had lunch there twice, and won't be going back. The carvery lunch is decidedly average at best. Nothing special. Because of the table layout, most tables are close to the bar. The bar staff are loud and make a lot of noise, the radio/music is loud, televisions too. Not an enjoyable environment for a chat over lunch. The toilets are upstairs, so forget about wheelchairs. While clean, no paper hand towels and the warm air drier might as well not be there, my travel hairdryer has better output. Only cows milk available for teas and coffees, no alternatives .

Classic pub

A classic Irish pub. Food was descent, But nothing crazy. Not sure what the point is in asking how you want the steak if you proceed to cook it well done regardless! Nevertheless, staff was kind and service was ok, if you want the feel of a genuine locals pub, id say this place gets pretty close.
