Spirit Airlines is giving passengers 25% select fares out of Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) to celebrate its 25-year anniversary of operations at the Illinois airport.
is celebrating its 25th anniversary at Chicago O’Hare International Airport with a limited-time 25% discount on base fares for travel originating at ORD.
The offer is available to book until 11:59 p.m. ET on 12 October, using offer code 25PCT, and, can be used on one-way flights taking place between 20 October and 10 December this year.
“For 25 years our Chicago Guests have embraced our high-value service, and we’re excited to commemorate this milestone moment with a special flight deal,” Spirit chief commercial officer Rana Ghosh said.
'Free Spirit' loyalty members, meanwhile, can earn 1,500 bonus points on roundtrip journeys (or 750 points on one-way tickets) to or from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) if they book by 14 October and fly by 12 November.
Also, new Free Spirit sign-ups in the period will receive 500 bonus points.
Spirit’s Chicago service began in 2000 and currently includes nonstop flights to 13 destinations, with up to 18 peak-day departures.
The airline noted, however, that the discount offer excludes flights on Fridays, Sundays and dates between 20 November and 2 December. Nor does it apply to Y, B or H class fares.
