Universal Orlando Resort has confirmed when it plans to kick off this year's festivities.
The Orlando theme parks, CityWalk and resort hotels will begin the holiday celebrations from 21 November through 4 January, Universal announced this week.
It will see destination-wide seasonal décor, entertainment and experiences.
These will include events across Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and for in its debut year, the Epic Universe park. Highlights will include Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Grinchmas in Seuss Landing, and Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s.

Fans of the wizarding world can enjoy festive garlands, hot Butterbeer, and seasonal shows by The Frog Choir and Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees across Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. And, each evening will be a guest favourite “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” projection and special effects show, in the Islands of Adventure park.
Also, there's “The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular” along with meet-and-greets with The Grinch and Whos whilst Universal Studios Florida hosts the Macy’s parade, culminating in the lighting of an 80-foot Christmas tree with Santa.

Universal noted that guests can also book special seasonal ticketed add-ons, including a guided Universal Holiday Tour and The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast.
