Where to eat during your Sequoia Lodge stay at Disneyland Paris

6 min read

Sequoia Lodge isn’t just a popular place to rest your head between visits to the Disneyland Paris parks, it's also a hotel well suited for guests who like to satisfy their appetites as well as their budget.

Nestled among towering pines on the edge of Lake Disney, this forest lodge-inspired hotel brings the spirit of the great outdoors indoors - and its dining options are nothing if not hearty.

Whether you’re craving a generous buffet, a fireside snack in the summer, or something to warm you up on a European winter’s night, the Sequoia Lodge can deliver on all fronts.

Here, we take a closer look at the dining options at the Sequoia Lodge resort.

Hunter’s Grill and Beaver Creek Tavern

The main restaurants at Sequoia Lodge are the twin buffet restaurants, Hunter’s Grill and Beaver Creek Tavern.

Both offer a menu that embraces the lodge’s warm, woodsy theme with a rustic setting that feels like a retreat after a day in the parks.

Breakfast is a classic Disney affair, with a wide variety of pastries, yoghurts, fruit, bread rolls, cereal, and hot selections such as scrambled eggs and sausages.

Guests tend to see it as a satisfying and practical way to fuel up before heading to the parks.

Dinner, however, is where these restaurants really shine.

The buffet offers roasted meats, rich wild boar with mushroom sauce, grilled chicken thighs coated in a slightly spicy glaze, and plenty of sides from potato gratin to seasonal vegetables.

During the winter months, the restaurant adds a popular feature a raclette station - serving up the favourite Swiss melty cheese and potato dish.

The atmosphere during these colder months is especially lively, with many guests visiting the restaurant especially to enjoy the seasonal treat.

The buffet also features a range of cold starters like smoked salmon, coleslaw, and charcuterie, alongside warm dishes such as pasta with cheese sauce, curry beef, and even venison leg.

For dessert, there’s a variety including mousse pots, fruit jelly, pistachio cakes, and an ice cream bar with toppings ranging from Oreos to strawberry syrup.

In terms of pricing, the buffet is priced at €45 per adult and €25 per child.

Whilst it's not the cheapest meal you’ll find across all of Disneyland Paris, it's certainly not the most expensive either - and the buffet means all guests will be well fed!

Reservations are recommended, especially from November through Februar,y as guests flock in for the raclette.

Redwood bar and lounge

The Redwood Bar and Lounge is arguably one of the most atmospheric spaces in any Disneyland Paris hotel - and, again, is particularly popular in the winter.

The lounge is built around a grand stone fireplace and styled like a National Park lodge.

The bar opens in the afternoon and serves until 11 pm, offering a varied menu of drinks, snacks, and light meals.

Redwood’s drinks menu includes themed cocktails and mocktails, a selection of wines, and indulgent hot chocolate-based creations.

Its food menu meanwhile, includes charcuterie boards and cheese plates, as well as toasted sandwiches and wraps, all served with crisps or cherry tomatoes.

The Redwood Club Sandwich, in particular, is often cited as a popular choice for guests looking for a lighter bite.

Desserts on the menu include brownies, apple compote craquelin, and themed pastries.

The Redwood Bar tends to stay calm and comfy practically all year round. Fans of Sequoia Lodge describe it as a retreat from the parks and the busier eateries closer to the parks and Disney Village.

Eat in Disney Village

The Disney Village is just a short stroll from the Newpork Bay hotel and it offers plenty of other dining options for guests.

Whether you’re looking for a cosy French brasserie, American diner classics, or a quick bite between park hopping, Disney Village has you covered. Let's take a look at some of the options.

Annette’s Diner is a step back into the 1950s. This retro-themed American diner offers the classics you’d expect – think juicy burgers, creamy milkshakes, and fries galore, all served in a nostalgic setting.

Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon is a lively, Southwest-themed American frontier dining experience. The saloon serves up bar snacks and small plates, whilst the Billy Bob’s La Grange, upstairs, is an all-you-can-eat Tex-Mex buffet.

Brasserie Rosalie is a French brasserie, that offers classic Parisian dishes with a modern twist, making it a popular spot for a sit-down meal. There are also quick options if you’re on the go but still want something refined and French-inspired.

Earl of Sandwich is an excellent quick-service restaurant, but also a hearty alternative to the standard fast-food theme park burgers. Here you can get satisfying hot sandwiches, wraps, and salads. It's a great choice if you’re looking to fuel up and dive back into the Disney magic.

Five Guys is now at Disney Village. The popular burger chain offers customisable burgers and fries (lots of them). You will certainly have had cheaper burgers before, but you won’t have had many tastier ones.

McDonald's, the much more famous (and cheaper) American burger chain, is also a quick service favourite at Disneyland Paris Village. The familiar and family-friendly ‘Golden Arches’ has all the classic items you know and love, plus a few European extras.

Rainforest Café is an immersive and intensely themed sit-down restaurant. Here you can dine in a tropical wonderland complete with animatronic animals, rainforest decor, and even occasional "storms" make it a unique treat.

Starbucks, is … well, a Starbucks. Coffee, pastry and snacks are served with convenience. Whether it's a hot or cold caffeine drink or a bite to eat, guests can expect to find the typical Starbucks experience.

The Royal Pub, a British bar and restaurant, is a popular choice for sit-down dining for pub classics.

The Steakhouse is well known for its hearty steak and BBQ meat dishes. It is a prime choice for carnivores!

Vapiano serves fresh Italian food prepared before your eyes - here you can customise your own pasta, pizza, or salad dishes, then watch them come to life in the open kitchen.

Thoughts …

The dining spots at Sequoia Lodge fit the tone of the resort perfectly. They’re keep in with the rustic and warm atmosphere.

Whether gathering with family at the buffet, enjoying a drink by the fire, or stealing a quiet snack before bed, the food here matches the setting in all the right ways.

This is a popular resort for guests who enjoy traditional food, comfort food menus, and a relaxed vibe.

Sequoia Lodge might not match some of the fancier dining at resorts like Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel and the Disneyland Hotel, but it is known for serving up solid and satisfying meals.

Ultimately, there’s plenty of choice nearby too, so guests booking a stay at Sequoia Lodge certainly won’t go hungry!
