One of Walt Disney World's most iconic hotels, the Polynesian Village Resort has been drawing families to its tropical, South Pacific-inspired surroundings since 1971. It sits right on the Seven Seas Lagoon with monorail access to Magic Kingdom and a single transfer to EPCOT — hard to beat for park convenience. Dining spans Pacific island flavours, Asian-influenced dishes and American classics across breakfast, lunch and dinner. Accommodation ranges from standard rooms and club-level suites sleeping up to five, through to spacious villas and overwater-style bungalows with private decks and plunge pools for groups of up to nine. A newer addition, Island Tower, adds four themed terrace gardens, a zero-entry Cove Pool and Moana's Voyage splash area. Note that construction and refurbishments are currently ongoing.
