Disney World officially launches its new stage show, The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure, this coming week at the Hollywood Studios park.

The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure makes its debut on Tuesday, 27 May.

Guests will find the stage show in Hollywood Studios’ Animation Courtyard. Performances will run throughout the day, from 9:15 AM to 7:15 PM.

It is an entirely revamped and reimagined show, replacing a previous Little Mermaid show at the park.

Disney World says it's a fully reimagined theatrical experience combining actors, puppetry, physical scenery, and digital effects.

Audiences can expect to enjoy songs “Under the Sea”, “Part of Your World”, “Kiss the Girl” and “Daughters of Triton”.

The show is conceived to be more closely with Ariel’s personal perspective and emotional narrative, according to Disney.

“With breathtaking set pieces, colorful costumes, and masterful puppetry, the show’s visual style captures Ariel’s dream of a life beyond the sea.”

It promises to be a fun and vibrant addition to everyone’s entertainment itinerary, starting Tuesday, guests can meanwhile check out Disney’s behind-the-scenes reveal of the show (below), or, see the official Disney Parks Blog for even more details about the show.

It is one of two new entertainment offerings at Hollywood Studios opening this week - the other is stage show, ‘Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After’, which also makes its debut this week.
