Excitement is building early for Disney World's next new-build resort, Lakeshore Lodge, as new details were revealed this week.

Lakeshore Lodge will open with three restaurants, a Pocahontas‑inspired lobby and a two‑storey private fireworks lounge, according to new concept art released by Disney.

These were among the latest in a series of details shared by the Disney Parks Blog, ahead of Lakeshore Lodge's projected opening in summer 2027.

The name of one of the new restaurants was revealed: Moonglade, which is shown in the artwork to be a lakefront, table‑service venue featuring floor‑to‑ceiling windows. Meanwhile, in the accompanying post, Disney said the menu is to be built around seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.

A picturesque waterfront scene featuring a modern building surrounded by cypress trees and water. The setting is during sunset, creating a vibrant atmosphere with reflections on the water's surface.

The other two dining locations planned for Lakeshore Lodge were described as grab‑and‑go and waterfront dining.

Lakeshore Lodge, which will be a Disney Vacation Club property, is also expected to have a lobby that will "immerse guests in the sights and sounds of nature", with a design that includes a fiberoptic river represented in the floor.

Also teased is the Dandelion Terrace, planned as a two‑storey lounge overlooking Bay Lake intended for viewing Magic Kingdom fireworks, with soft lighting, dandelion fixtures and a gallery of animation art.

A vibrant indoor space depicting a modern design with large windows and colorful decorations. Various people, including families and children, are engaged in activities, surrounded by playful art installations.

Precise details about the who and how of guest access to the lounge have not yet been provided by Disney.

It has been highlighted, however, that many of the Lakeshore Lodge resort's 967 rooms will face Bay Lake and offer views of Magic Kingdom fireworks.
