Guests looking at self-catered villa holidays with Jet2 can add a new 'hidden gem' destination to their wishlist.
Jet2Villas has added Galicia, the lush region on Spain’s north‑west coast, to its programme for the first time.
Known for its green landscapes, Atlantic coastline, beaches, fishing villages and seafood, Galicia offers another choice for guests looking beyond Spain's 'costas', Balearics, or Canaries for their next trip.
“We’re delighted to introduce Galicia to Jet2Villas for the first time, giving customers even more choice when it comes to villa holidays in Spain,” David Hills, Chief Customer Officer of Jet2, said.
Jet2 added that the region’s mix of coast, countryside, culture and food makes it suitable for families, groups and couples seeking a more independent villa holiday away from Spain’s traditional resort destinations.
The arrival of Galicia is part of a wider expansion that added more than 1,000 new properties for Summer 26, taking the total number of villas available to over 4,000 across more than 52 destinations.
Jet2Villas noted that villa stays typically offer features such as private pools, outdoor space, multiple bedrooms and larger shared living areas, which it says suit families, multi‑generational groups and groups of friends.
It comes as villa holidays are proving to be particularly popular, with Jet2 claiming it saw its highest ever number of villa bookings for a summer season, with over 100,000 customers for Summer 2026.
