Great Tides Waterpark at Great Stirrup Cay will open on Sept. 4, 2026, during Norwegian Luna’s seven-day Caribbean sailing.

Beginning May 28, guests sailing to Great Stirrup Cay on or after Sept. 4 can buy day passes and reserve private cabanas for up to six guests, with cabana bookings including waterpark admission.

"Great Stirrup Cay continues to evolve as the premier private island destination in the Bahamas, and we're excited to officially open Great Tides Waterpark on Sept. 4, 2026," said Marc Kazlauskas, president of Norwegian Cruise Line.

Spanning nearly six acres, the park centres on a 170-foot Tidal Tower that features Breakwater Blasters, described as industry-first water coasters with downhill drops and uphill blasts inside an inner tube.

The line-up also includes Whitewater Dash (two body slides), Rapid Mat Racers (two mat slides), tube slides Tropic Storm and Tropic Spiral, Cliffside Cove with the industry's first and highest cliff jumps, The Great Slide (a four-person body slide), Fearless Falls and a hidden Grotto Bar.

Younger guests will have Splash Cay, a 9,000-square-foot kids' zone, and an over-800-foot Wandering River provides a high-energy take on a lazy river.

The waterpark builds on recent upgrades to Great Stirrup Cay, including the Great Life Lagoon, the adults-only Vibe Shore Club and a new tram system.

NCL said ticket prices will vary by seasonality and availability, and its cruise guests can purchase the day passes through the myNCL app, after a cruise reservation is completed.
