Marella Cruises, TUI UK's cruise line, has released new details about its summer 2028 programme, wihich will visit the Greek port of Patras for the first time.
Patras, Greece's third-largest city, will feature on Marella Explorer's new "Grecian Gems" itinerary, sailing from the line's Corfu homeport from July 2028. The port offers sights including the Church of St Andrew and views across the Gulf of Patras."
"We're always looking for opportunities to offer customers new destinations and Patras is an exciting addition to our programme. Alongside new itineraries and expanded cruise and stay options, Summer 2028 will give customers even more choice when planning their next cruise," said Chris Hackney, Marella Cruises' chief executive.

Marella Explorer 2, the line's adults-only ship, will launch a new seven-night "Spanish Shores" itinerary from Malaga from June 2028, calling at Gibraltar, Ibiza Town, Mahon, Palma and Cartagena.
Four repositioning cruises start from April 2028: "Sail into Spring" on Marella Explorer from Gran Canaria and Tenerife to Corfu; "Flavours of the Mediterranean" on Marella Discovery 2 from Palma to Dubrovnik; "Transatlantic Treasures" on Marella Explorer 2 from Barbados to Malaga; and "Atlantic Horizons" on Marella Voyager from Barbados to Palma.
The rest of the fleet will homeport across Europe, with Marella Discovery and Marella Voyager based in Palma and Marella Discovery 2 in Dubrovnik.

Marella has expanded its cruise and stay options to 119 hotels across Majorca, Corfu, Dubrovnik and Malaga, departing from 22 UK and Irish airports.
Prices for "Grecian Gems" start from £1,966 per person, including all-inclusive dining, tips and service charges.
Hackney added: "Demand for our Eastern Mediterranean Cruises remains strong, with Summer 2027 already ahead of last year," said Chris Hackney, Marella Cruises' chief executive.
Summer 2028 sailings go on sale from 15 October.
