Universal Orlando has grown well beyond a single theme park. Today it spans three full parks — Epic Universe opened in 2025 — plus a water park, a shopping and dining district, and several on-site hotels ranging from budget-friendly to genuinely luxurious. For families, that means you can realistically fill a week without leaving the resort. The big draws are the immersive lands: the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Super Nintendo World, and the various Universal Monsters and DreamWorks zones give older kids and adults plenty to get stuck into. Younger children are well catered for too, particularly at Universal's Islands of Adventure. Staying on-site unlocks early park entry and, at the top-tier hotels, front-of-queue access — worth serious consideration during busy periods. Orlando's year-round sunshine and Florida's direct flight connections from the UK make it a practical as well as exciting choice.
