Universal Orlando has revealed details of some of the special celebrations planned for the 2026 holiday season.
Celebrations this year will see the range of holiday decorations, special shows and themed entertainment that guests have come to enjoy and expect across its parks and resort hotels.
Highlights of the season, revealed in a new post by Universal Orlando, include Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which will run across all three wizarding-world locations-Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley and the Ministry of Magic-with Hogsmeade hosting “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle,” a nighttime projection and effects show.
Over in Seuss Landing, in Universal Islands of Adventure, Grinchmas returns with the “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular,” character meet-and-greets including the Grinch, and a Who-Ville Tree Lot.
In Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s will run nightly with large balloons, themed floats and a Christmas tree lighting (led by Santa) every night.
For the first time, 2026 brings holiday cheer to Universal Epic Universe with décor planned for SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and How to Train Your Dragon, Isle of Berk. Epic's Celestial Park will meanwhile run a daytime “cosmic winter wonderland” with themed fountain displays.
Universal CityWalk will host the Green and Red Coconut Club seasonal takeover, and Universal’s 11 hotels will offer themed décor, holiday activities.
Universal has also announced it will run the separately ticketed Universal Holiday Tour, a two-park two-and-a-half hour event, held on select dates between November 14 and January 2. It is priced from $69.99 per person, plus tax. Universal annual passholders can avail of a $10 discount,
Taking place during normal park hours, the tour is a guided experience that comprises exclusive meet-and-greets with The Grinch and his dog Max, as well as a meet-and-greet with Santa Claus, plus reserved seating for The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular, and, optionally, access to a reserved viewing area for the Holiday Parade featuring Macy's.
Pricing does not include park admission (so you need to have your own ticket, or be a passholder, to be in the park that day).
Universal also announced a promotional offer for domestic guests planning trips, with 30% off on five-night-plus stays for US residents, along with an offer to 'save up to $300 when bundling with park tickets'.
Also, a “Get 2-Days Free with a 3-Day Ticket” offer is available for hotel and park bundles.
Meanwhile, a promotion for Florida residents offers a 2-Park Unlimited Days Ticket for $199 plus tax through December 16, with up to 25% off rooms at participating hotels.
