Universal Orlando Resort has revealed new details about this year's Halloween Horror Nights events, announcing a number of the haunted houses planned for the seasonal guest-favourite nighttime special.
A total of 10 haunted houses have been announced so far for the 2027 Halloween Horror Nights, which begin with the first of 48 events on 28 August, through until 1 November.
Among the latest reveals is the apparent transformation of the park into the Infernal Carnival of Nightmares, under the auspices of Jack the Clown and his rival Dr Oddfellow.
Guests can naturally also expect movie and TV content tie-ins, with this year's offering including Sinners, inspired by the 2025 Oscar-winning original horror film, which sends guests to a 1930s Mississippi Delta club overrun by red-eyed vampires, and Stranger Things, which places visitors into the fifth and final season with sets including the Wheeler House, Hawkins National Laboratory, MAC-Z and the Abyss while they are hunted by Vecna.

There's INVASION: Alien Abduction, which features an aggressive unseen alien craft that has taken a family and livestock.
Another original will be H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular!, with the escaped TV horror host returning to WKNB, and MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals, which is to be set in a post-apocalyptic zoo where humans prey on humans.
Then there's Cybergoria, which, set thousands of years in the future, envisages a dystopia where machines harvest human flesh after cryo-sleep.
Universal Orlando said further details, including the three remaining haunted houses, scare zones and live entertainment, will be revealed soon.
