Fall at Universal Orlando is, of course, Halloween Horror season. But, for a large number of guests heading to the parks from late August through 1 November, it's also a darkly exciting time for the Wizarding World too.

Universal has now confirmed the hotly anticipated return of the Dark Arts, the Death Eaters and Dementors to the Orlando parks.

This year will see the Dark Arts projection show upon Hogwarts Castle in the Islands of Adventure park from September 5 through 1 November.

An ominous castle is depicted surrounded by a mass of skeletons under a dark and cloudy sky. The scene conveys a sense of eerie mystery and fantasy.

It's the first time since 2022 that the enchanting show returns to the park, bringing Dementors, Death Eaters and other forces of Lord Voldemort using projection mapping, special effects, lighting and music from the Harry Potter films.

Over in Diagon Alley, in the Universal Studios park, will be the appearance of the Death Eaters, roaming the shadows of Knockturn Alley.

It wouldn't be the Wizarding World if there wasn't some unique Dark Arts‑inspired merchandise and retail experiences too. Among them will be the newly released Second Generation Interactive Wand modelled after the wand wielded by Lord Voldemort.

Guests should also check out Borgin and Burkes, in Knockturn Alley, which is always home to some of the darker merch that the Wizarding World has to offer.
