Guests heading to Universal's popular Halloween Horror Nights this year can look forward to a frightfully nostalgic treat, as the latest haunted house announcement revealed that an Eighties horror classic has been added to the 2027 roster.
Universal revealed that it will stage all-new haunted houses inspired by Hellraiser, Hellbound: Hellraiser II and Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth, with the Orlando run beginning Friday, 28 August and the Hollywood run from Thursday, 3 September.
Universal said the attractions will lead guests through the Lament Configuration puzzle box into key franchise locations, including Frank Cotton’s attic, the Channard Institute and The Labyrinth, and that actor Doug Bradley will reprise the role of Pinhead and lend his voice to both houses.
As guests will have come to expect, the Hellraiser-themed house will be accompanied by special limited-release merchandise, including a T-shirt and a Pinhead acrylic figure that fits the separately sold Infernal Carnival collectible display. The merch will be available at the Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood parks, and online in the coming days and weeks.
Event tickets are on sale now, and Universal said additional products for Universal Orlando Resort, including four Frequent Fear Pass options (Rush of Fear, Frequent Fear, Frequent Fear Plus and Ultimate Fear), will be released soon.
