Universal Orlando has today given a glimpse of some of the merchandise coming to its brand new theme park, Epic Universe when it opens in May.
Epic Universe will be home to more than 20 retail outlets, across its five theme park areas - Super Nintendo World, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Ministry of Magic, How to Train Your Dragon Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, and Celestial Park.

“The groundbreaking, immersive worlds of Epic Universe created the dream opportunity for us to design a first-of-its-kind merchandise program that brings these iconic stories to fans in new and innovative ways,” said Justin Lafoe, Universal’s global parks merchandise and retail officer. .ad-banner { width: 100%; text-align: center; }
Lafoe added: “We are thrilled to bring fan-favourite worlds to life and give guests the chance to bring home a piece of their adventures with them.”

Here, we take a closer look at the teased new retail experiences and merch for the Dark Universe, the home of legendary Universal Monsters like Dracula, The Wolf Man, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Frankenstein’s Monster, and the Bride of Frankenstein.
Legendary Monsters tee shirts and merchandise
Darkmoor, the fictional town in Dark Universe, is home to several retail spots all stocked with merchandise adorned with classic and iconic gothic characters.
At Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience guests can find themselves transformed into a monster of their own, through elaborate face painting and accessories.
To complement the make-up, cosplayers are promised an extensive assortment of clobber at the nearby Pretorius’ Scientific Oddities.

Dark Universe’s merchandise includes some reimagined interpretations of the classic characters, with the ‘Bitty Monsters’ collection.
With multiple retail locations in Dark Universe, like The Manor Storehouse and the Guild of Mystics, Universal promises “spine-tingling experiences” and all-new Monsters themed collections.
